How to Send
Methods – Any way that you can get the sample to our front door is acceptable. FedEx, UPS, USPS, and drop-offs are currently the methods used by clients daily. Our clients are responsible for shipping cost.
Timeline – Blood samples are acceptable up to but not exceeding 28 days from the day the blood is drawn. We default to our 24hr AGID EIA test. Estimated daily mail delivery times: (all times are eastern standard time)
- USPS – 9am
- FedEx Express – 10am to 1pm
- FedEx Ground – 10am to 8pm
- UPS – 11am to 8pm
- USPS Overnight – 2pm to 3pm
Tips – Just a few suggestions
- Bubble wrap glass tubes or use plastic
- Numbering tubes creates less confusion
- Use tracking when shipping to avoid lost packages
- Call no matter how big or small the problem, we’ll give our best

What to Send
Serum or Whole Blood – For the best testing results we recommend that serum is sent. We also accept whole blood samples in either red top tubes or tiger top tubes. View sample condition chart
Ice or No Ice – We do not require samples to be sent on ice and it is not needed for sample condition to maintain testability. Save money and ship with no ice.
Signature Sheet – We will only run tests that are accompanied by our signature sheet. Each sample sent must be accompanied by the horse’s name, owners name, blood draw date, and doctors signature verifying all information is correct. Download Signature Sheet
